Mitel Relocating to Campus at Legacy

Mitel announced it would be relocating its U.S. headquarters from Granite Park IV, 5850 Granite Pkwy. in Plano, TX to The Campus at Legacy. Mitel will be leasing 82,464 square feet in its new space on Legacy Drive, also in Plano. JLL’s Steve Thelen and Jeremy McGown represented the tenant in the lease negotiation. Peloton Commercial Real Estate’s John Brownlee and Michael Williams advised the landlord, Spear Street Capital.

Mitel is a business telecommunications company headquartered in Canada. The company consolidated its U.S. headquarters at Granite Park IV during 2014, taking down 52,834 square feet.

The Campus at Legacy consists of 1.2 million square feet of office space, situated on 107 acres. “The new office solution will provide Mitel with an ideal blend of amenities, both on-site and nearby, and convenient accessibility for their employee and client base,” McGown said. “The Campus at Legacy is a great fit for the company’s long-term strategy.”
