Missner Group Breaks Ground on Chicago Stockyards Development
The Missner Group (TMG) has broken ground on 4002 S. Princeton Ave in Chicago’s historic Stockyards, a new 180,900-square-foot, speculative industrial development.
The project, funded through a joint venture with investment partner Greystar-Thackeray, is expected to be completed in Q2 2026. CBRE’s Larry Goldwasser, Colin Green, and John Marks are overseeing leasing.
“I’m looking forward to beginning work on 4002 South Princeton, which represents an incredible opportunity for industrial and manufacturing tenants looking for build-to-suit space specialized for their needs,” said TMG President Barry Missner. “The Stockyards’ close proximity to both major transportation linkages and a large blue collar workforce makes this building a versatile option for any company’s needs.”
Upon completion, the LEED-certified building will feature 20 exterior loading docks, two drive-in doors, 36 trailer positions, and parking for 208 cars. The building also qualifies for Chicago’s 6b tax incentive on new or substantially rehabilitated industrial development.
