Mission Gorge Neighborhood Retail Center Sold
Riverdale Shopping Center, a neighborhood retail center in San Diego’s Mission Gorge, was sold for $10.1 million. Built in 1980, the 66,416-square-foot shopping center on 10.22 acres of land at 10320-10370 Friars Rd. is anchored by CVS/pharmacy.
CBRE’s Philip D. Voorhees, Jimmy Slusher, Kirk Brummer, Megan Wood, Sean Heitzler and Reg Kobzi represented the seller, a partnership advised by San Diego based CRE investment firm SENTRE, including Peckham Properties, Inc., Commercial Sites Limited, and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., as a fiduciary to McKinney Survivor’s Trust. The San Diego-based buyer, Becker Properties, LLC, was represented by Kobzi.
Becker Properties’ Brad Becker says, “The shopping center is an infill property and 50% of the tenants have been on the property for more than 20 years. The sales volumes for the tenants are excellent, the rents are well below market and there is an opportunity to refresh the appearance and tenant mix in the near future.”
