Minnesota Hardware Selects Spring Town for Second Store
Minnesota-based Rockler Woodworking and Hardware selected Spring Town Center for its second Houston-area store. Construction on a brand-new building on the 67-acre development in northwest Houston will begin in the next 90 days.
The center, under development by NewQuest Properties, is at Farm-to-Market Road 2920 and Kuykendahl in Spring, TX. It is located approximately four miles from the new, 385-acre ExxonMobil campus, and the just-announced, 378,000-square-foot office project for HP Inc.
“Our project worked well for them because of the co-tenancy and location,” said Bob Conwell with NewQuest. “Rockler’s team came to us after discovering a large number of its customers were driving from northwest Houston to its Southwest Freeway store.”
Conwell and Ashley Williams Strickland, also with NewQuest, represented the landlord in the transaction. Craig Wielansky of L3 Corp. and Joe Silver of Streetwise Retail Advisors represented Rockler Woodworking, which also has a store at 3265 Southwest Fwy.
