Milwaukee Sports Celebrity Antetokounmpo Plans Retail Store Near Fiserv Forum

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brothers plan to open a retail store at The Trade Hotel directly across from Fiserv Forum stadium in downtown Milwaukee as part of their family’s growing business empire.

According to a building permit filed with the city of Milwaukee, the $300,000 project will be located on the first floor of the hotel in the Deer District, which reopened in May after undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation. The Trade Hotel has 207 guest rooms, two restaurants and a gastropub. The remodel was designed to attract more sports and entertainment celebrities to Milwaukee, and it seems the investment was a slam dunk given the new partnership with Antetokounmpo.

The permit application was filed by Jeffrey Brenkus of GBA Architecture Design of Madison. Middleton-based hotel property management company NCG Hospitality owns and operates the hotel.
