Millennium Hollywood Passes City Quake Regulations
The Millennium Hollywood mixed-use development recently passed an approval hurdle. The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety determined that there are no active earthquake faults that run under the nearly 4.5-acre site.
This decision took place despite findings by John Parrish, the state’s geologist, that it is above an active fault line.
The project, being developed by New York City-based Millennium Partners, is to include 215,000 square feet of office space, including a revitalization of the historic Capitol Records building, 200 upscale hotel rooms, restaurant and retail space and a large health club, among other uses.
