Millenia Smart Park’s 1.5M SF to Target Autonomous Tech

Breaking ground in the summer of 2021, Millenia Smart Park consists of three connected campuses totaling up to 1.5 million square feet, dedicated to everything autonomous. Chula Vista’s existing comprehensive smart city platform makes Millenia Smart Park a good choice for the technology that goes with it.

Smart Park’s proximity to the Chula Vista UAV Test Site, one of only four UAV sites in San Diego County, and Brown Field Municipal Airport, make it uniquely positioned for testing UAV applications. And, the U.S. Department of Transportation designated Chula Vista and the broader San Diego region as one of 10 U.S. autonomous vehicle proving grounds, one of only two in California.

And finally, Southwestern College is one of only three colleges in San Diego County to be selected to participate in the unmanned aircraft systems collegiate training initiative by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Lisa Brown has decades of experience in corporate communications and marketing management with organizations including Coldwell Banker Residential, Grubb & Ellis, Marcus & Millichap, NAIOP, SIOR and ALM. In those positions, she worked in conjunction with chief executive officers and chief marketing officers to create corporate messaging, cohesive branding standards, strategic marketing plans and thought pieces. Brown is a frequent speaker at industry events and an editing adjunct professor for an online course. She has a master’s degree in mass communications from San Jose State University.
