Mill-Looking Steel House Offices Taking Shape in Denver
Beacon Capital Partners and Elevation Development have started work on the Steel House in Denver’s North Art District (RiNo). The 12-story, 300,000 square foot office building will look a bit like an uptown industrial project. The developers said it was done by design, “the building’s silhouette reflects RiNo’s storied industrial history, with up to 41,000 sq. ft. floor plates framed by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto private tenant terraces.” Morris Adjmi and Open Studio Architecture came up with the design.
Steel House will have multiple outdoor patios and decks, including The Park, a 13,000-square-foot landscaped outdoor space designed by Future Green Studios.
Amenities at the new office building include a 7,500-square-foot, multi-level gym, including a two-story rock climbing wall and multisport court. The office building will also have an indoor/outdoor yoga studio, coffee bar and conference center. The group paid $18.7 million for the property in 2019.
