Mill Creek Starting Dallas Project Near White Rock Lake

The prolific Florida-based apartment developer, Mill Creek, has started work on a Dallas-area multifamily project. Dirt’s being moved for a rental community just south of White Rock Lake. Located on East Grand Avenue and Gaston Avenue, the mixed-use project connects to the Santa Fe Trail.

The 6-story, 285-unit Modera Trailhead Apartment Building has a large area of ​​retail and restaurants on the ground floor facing the trailhead.

Mill Creek’s Michael Blackwell gives an update, “We’ve been talking to potential retail and restaurant tenants and the response to that is very encouraging. We want to create this unique place.”

Dallas architects GFF worked with landscape architects TBG Partners to design the building.

Mill Creek is already developing another rental community in West Dallas that will be connected to the new riverfront park. The Modera Trinity Building on Beckley Avenue, just east of Commerce, has over 200 apartments.
