MIG picks Brakers Business Park with aid of $67M CBRE secured loan

MIG Buys 13 Austin Flex-Industrial/Retail Buildings

A 13 building, 42-acre Austin business park was recently acquired by MIG Real Estate. MIG did it with the help of a $67.1 million loan secured by CBRE. A CBRE team led by Bill Chiles secured the five-year, non-recourse, floating rate loan for MIG Real Estate. The Braker Business Park’s 13 flex and research and development buildings and one retail center were included as part of the sale in Austin.

In total, all buildings encompass 547,395 sq. ft., with four buildings fully occupied. The retail center, Lonestar Center, is located at 1910 West Braker Lane. The 15,302 square-feet-retail center is fully leased and was built in 2000.

MIG Real Estate already owns three buildings within the Braker Business Park. The firm purchased these buildings in September 2016.

The properties are located near MoPac for immediate access to downtown Austin and the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. North of the business parks is The Domain, the popular office center.
