Midway’s Anna Deans Promoted to VP

Anna Deans has been promoted to VP, investment and development at Houston-based Midway. In her new role, she will be the single point of contact for clients and partners, and one of her primary focuses will be Midway’s 150-acre East River mixed-use project.

Deans joined Midway in 2018 as a senior development manager. Previously, she developed mixed-use properties for Thor Equities, and earlier in her career was a design architect for Gensler.

“With a majority of her experience in mixed-use development, Anna provides tremendous insight and perspective to our growing portfolio of large, complex projects,” said Larry Sloan, EVP, investment and development at Midway.

He added, “We have already witnessed her incredible performance working on East River, and we are confident her knowledge, passion and dedication to creating remarkable places will contribute to her continued success at Midway.”
