Midway to Develop 128K-SF Industrial Facility in Sugar Land

Privately-owned real estate investment and development firm Midway has announced plans to develop a new 128,000-square-foot industrial facility in Sugar Land, TX. The new facility will be occupied by Bluebonnet Nutrition Corp, a nutritional supplement manufacturer and distributor.

The new structure will be the supplement manufacturer’s third location in Sugar Land and will enable a significant expansion of its manufacturing, laboratory testing and distribution capabilities.

Midway worked with JLL to source the land of the more than seven-acre site located inside the Sugar Land Business Park. Jarret Venghaus of JLL and his team brokered the land purchase from previous owner, Baker Hughes. Midway is also designing and overseeing construction of Bluebonnet’s new facility, which includes approximately 80,000 square feet of warehouse space, alongside 28,000 square feet of manufacturing and 20,000 square feet of office and lab space.

“This is an exciting new project with a significant capital investment,” said Gary Barrows, president at Bluebonnet. “Bluebonnet Nutrition Corp Is a highly specialized manufacturer of dietary supplements, and the new facility has integrated many advanced technologies. This is why we partnered with Midway to build this first-of-its-kind nutraceutical facility. We are looking at a multiphase approach to continue to expand our manufacturing and distribution production domestically and around the globe.”
