Midtown South Landmark Fully-Leased by Fotografiska

Fotografiska International, the world’s largest photography museum, has leased the entire 45,000-square-foot building at 281 Park Ave. South.

“We acquired 281 Park Avenue South with the belief that this incredible building required a special tenant… Fotografiska is a great institution,” said Aby Rosen, co-founder and principal of building-owner RFR, which bought the landmarked building in 2015 with its partner HQ Capital Real Estate from the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies.

The museum will be the first location in the U.S. for Fotografiska, which was represented by Newmark Knight Frank in the transaction.
