Midtown GP Kicks Off After Three Years in the Works
After nearly three years in the making, a lifestyle center is underway in the heart of Grand Prairie. Located along Highway 161, Midtown GP is a 56-acre mixed-use development that will bring urban living to Grand Prairie – a new concept for the town.
The site will include retail pads and strips, restaurants, office and hotel spaces, 142 townhomes, and a 366-unit class-A multifamily property with amenities similar to other upscale mixed-use centers in DFW.
In the past few years, Kalterra Capital Partners worked hand-in-hand with the local community and city leaders to develop a vision that would make a big impact on the area, combining top retail and restaurant spaces with upscale living. This concept that other firms failed to get off the ground has been solidified and is now coming together with Kalterra serving as the master developer. The project will be developed in phases, with the first phase expected to wrap up in 2023.
