
Middleburg Communities Taps Burch as Chief Accounting Officer
Multifamily development, investment, construction and management firm Middleburg Communities has tapped Stephen Burch as Chief Accounting Officer. In his new role, Burch will have overall responsibility for accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, corporate accounting and real estate accounting.
Prior to joining Middleburg, Burch held various roles at WashREIT, most recently serving as Controller, where he had primary oversight of corporate accounting, real estate accounting, financial reporting, technical accounting, income tax and REIT compliance. Prior to joining WashREIT, he was a Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’s Financial Services Assurance practice and held various roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers from October 2008 to January 2016.
