Middleburg Communities Hires Farmartino, Moffett and Pfister in D.C.

Vienna, VA-based multifamily development, investment and management company Middleburg Communities has hired Steve Farmartino, Chris Moffett and Jason Pfister. Farmartino joins as development manager, Moffett joins as vice president of portfolio maintenance operations and Pfister joins as vice president of land entitlements.

Farmartino will be based in the firm’s Charleston office and has more than six years of experience providing civil engineering consulting services. Moffett is responsible for all aspects of Middleburg’s Maintenance program and has more than 24 years of experience in multiple facets of facilities maintenance and the HVAC trade. Pfister is responsible for managing the land entitlement process of each development opportunity undertaken by the company and is based in the company’s Raleigh office.

Since 2004, Middleburg has acquired and developed more than 21,000 apartment units, executing over $3 billion in transactions.
