Middleburg Communities Adds Brooks Honeycutt as Principal and VP of Capital Markets 

Brooks Honeycutt has been appointed principal and vice president of capital markets at Middleburg Communities. In his new role, Honeycutt will oversee capital markets activities and client relationships for Middleburg’s discretionary offerings and will leverage his industry connections to expand the firm’s network of investment partners. Honeycutt will report to Kory Geans, chief investment officer of Middleburg, and will be based in Raleigh, North Carolina.  

“I’m thrilled to join a firm of such high standard in Middleburg and leverage my skillset to help the company continue to diversify and widen its capital base and relationships within the investment community,” said Honeycutt.  

Honeycutt brings over 18 years of experience, most recently as managing director of alternative investments at Nuveen, where he marketed alternative investment strategies to financial intermediaries.  

Prior to joining Nuveen, Honeycutt held senior-level capital markets positions at iCapital Network, Invesco, and Highland Capital Management.
