Middleburg Adding Another Pasco County Project to Portfolio

Middleburg has its eye on Pasco County. The developer is helming a project in Pasco County to develop Mosby at the Preserve, a 266-unit gated apartment complex. The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that Middleburg recently acquired land and secured financing for a 330-unit luxury apartment complex in Spring Hill. In 2024, the company started and completed nearly 600 units at Hamlet at Avalon Park and Mosby at Avalon Park.

The apartment complex is part of the second phase of the Preserve Marketplace, a 34-acre retail center anchored by Publix Super Markets. Publix acquired the land in 2019 for $6.8 million.

The apartment complex sits on 10 acres at the intersection of Preserve Marketplace Boulevard and South Branch Boulevard in Odessa. Mosby at the Preserve will consist of five buildings, ranging from 40 to 60 units with one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. Amenities will include a clubhouse and amenity center, pool, activity yard and dog park, according to floor plans.
