Mid-America Real Estate Brokers Sale of Retail Plaza Near Kansas City

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales Group is pleased to announce the successful sale of Summit Fair, a retail and dining destination serving the southeastern suburbs of Kansas City.

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principals Ben Wineman and Joe Girardi served as exclusive listing brokers on behalf of the seller, Phoenix-based RED Development. Block & Company’s David Block and Zach Albrecht represented the purchaser, a private investment group.

Located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Summit Fair is an institutional-quality, open-air town center that totals 241,923 square feet with a diverse tenant mix anchored by Dick’s Sporting Goods, DSW, H&M, and shadow-anchored by JCPenney and Furniture Mall of Missouri. The center is home to an array of inline tenants, including Ancho & Agave, Beauty Brands, Buckle, CraftPutt, Kay Jewelers, Lululemon, McAlister’s, Orangetheory Fitness, Pure Barre, Sephora, Tropical Smoothie Café, Victoria’s Secret, and Visionworks.

Developed between 2009 and 2017, Summit Fair is one of the newest retail destinations serving the Lee’s Summit trade area.
