Mid-America Executes Sale of Chicagoland Grocery-Anchored Retail Center

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales Group has arranged the sale of Willow Creek Center, a grocery-anchored regional shopping center located in the affluent North Shore suburb of Glenview, Illinois.

Positioned within one of Chicagoland’s most desirable retail corridors, Willow Creek Center features a diverse mix of national and regional retailers. The center is shadow-anchored by a high-performing Target.

Rick Drogosz, Principal; Ben Wineman, Principal and Managing Broker; and Patrick Corrigan, Senior Associate with Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales Group, served as the exclusive listing brokers on behalf of the seller, Sperry Equities. The property was acquired by DPI Retail. “We view this acquisition as the beginning of our presence in Chicago and look forward to expanding our footprint in the market,” said Fred Vitt, President of DPI Retail.

The property’s tenant roster includes retailers such as Aldi, Kohl’s, Planet Fitness, and Michaels, as well as medical, restaurant, and service-oriented tenants, including Northwestern Medicine, Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s, and Panda Express.
