Mid-America Brokers Sale of Michigan Avenue Building

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales Group recently brokered the sale of a 27,093-square-foot office and retail building located at 174 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago.

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principal Joe Girardi and Senior Vice President George Ghattas were the exclusive brokers in the transaction on behalf of the seller. Schaumburg-based North American Real Estate purchased the four-story, 27,093-square-foot building from Chicago-based L3 Capital, reported Crain’s.

The property’s ground-floor retail space was previously leased to 7-Eleven and sports fan apparel store Chicago Sports. The building is now vacant, including 17,400 square feet of office space throughout the top three floors of the property.
