Mid-America Brokers Retail Center Sale in Jackson, MI

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s investment sales team recently brokered the sale of Jackson West in Jackson, MI. The 209,800-square-foot retail center was purchased by Great Neck, NY- based Namdar Realty Group and Mason Asset Management.

Jackson West is located at the southwest corner of Boardman Road and US Route 127, in the dominant trade area of Jackson, Michigan. The peripheral regional center is anchored by Lowe’s Home Improvement, PetSmart, Michaels, Gordon Food Service and OfficeMax, and is situated adjacent to the major regional center of Jackson Crossing.

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation principal Ben Wineman and Mid-America Real Estate-Michigan Inc. were the exclusive brokers in the transaction on behalf of the seller.

The brokers did not identify the seller. However, retail REIT RPT Realty recently announced that it had sold Jackson West, along with Jackson Crossing, as part of a total of $123 million of dispositions during 2018.
