Michael Murray Joins Lift Partners from Terreno

San Francisco-based Lift Partners expanded its senior team with the addition of commercial real estate industry veteran Michael Murray. He joins as a partner of the value-add real estate operating company from Terreno Realty Corporation.

Lift Partners’ Chris Freise says “Patrick [Fisher] and I decided we were tired of competing with Murray for the best off-market deals. He brings tremendous energy, industrial knowledge and deep brokerage relationships. [We’re] lucky to have him as a partner.”

During his tenure at Terreno, Murray purchased in excess of $500 million of industrial real estate, and managed a portfolio of 4.4 million square feet.

He recently covered the Bay Area and New Jersey markets for the publicly traded REIT, and previously covered the Los Angeles and Seattle metros. Prior to joining Terreno in 2011, Murray worked in both the real estate debt syndications and distressed assets division at Wells Fargo.

Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private. He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements. Dennis has been involved in a host of charitable and community organizations including the American Cancer Society, Easter Seals, BoyScouts, Chrysalis Foundation, Freedom For Life, HOLA, L.A.’s BEST, Reach Out and Read, Super Bowl Host Committee, and Thunderbirds Charities.
