Michael Hunter has joined TH Real Estate as a senior director based in New York.

At TH, he will identify, develop and execute real estate products and strategies, reporting to Shawn Lese, head of Americas Product Development.

TH also added senior staff to its Chicago office. These hires add to key focus areas for TH, according to Chris McGibbon, head of TH Real Estate Americas. “Our research takes a long-term view with the goals of understanding real estate in the context of ‘tomorrow’s world,’” he said.

Hunter previously worked for the New York State Common Retirement Fund, where he helped oversee a real estate portfolio of over $13 billion. Before that, he worked with real estate acquisitions at Blackpoint Partners and Griffin Capital.
