Miami’s Magic City Innovation District Gets First Tenants

Five business signed long-term leases totaling 18,650 square feet at the Magic City Innovation District (MCID) in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood. The MCID is an innovation district focused on technology, sustainability, health and wellness, and art and culture.

Tenants signing leases at the district include tech company OnPoint Global, which signed a lease at 6300 NE Fourth Ave; Diana Lowenstein Gallery, which signed a lease at 320 61st St.; marketing firm Manmar Entertainment, which signed a lease at 320 NE 61st St.; water management start-up Ecovie, which signed a lease at 6210 NE Fourth Court; and boutique creative services agency COOL Creative, which signed a lease at 300 NE 62nd St.

MCID partners are seeking approval from the City of Miami for approximately 7.8 million square feet of mixed-use development, including 2,630 residential units, 432 hotel rooms, two million square feet of office space and 350,000 square feet of retail, as well as four acres of public open space.
