Miami Manager Sells $38M Grocery-Anchored Center in Plantation
Sunrise, FL-based Miami Manager has completed the $38.4-million disposition of Plantation Marketplace, a 230,330-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center in Plantation, FL.
An affiliate of Barron Real Estate acquired the asset at 7023 W Broward Boulevard.
Miami Manager purchased the property in 2015 for $32.9 million after taking a loan for $18 million. At the time of closing, the loan was $15 million.
“The demand for retail assets in South FL makes it the perfect time to sell a property that is no longer part of our core portfolio,” said Claudio Mekler, CEO of Miami Manager. “The buyer’s redevelopment plans for the site will help revitalize the area and continue with Plantation’s transformation.”
