MFS Renews 330K-SF Lease in Prudential Center 

MFS Investment Management has renewed its 330,000 square feet lease in Prudential Center in Boston’s Back Bay area in Massachusetts, reported by Boston Business Journal. 

Located at 111 Huntington Ave, Prudential Center is positioned at the base of the Prudential Tower. It offers direct indoor access to various nearby spots, including the Hynes Convention Center, office towers at 101 and 111 Huntington Avenue, and the Sheraton Boston Hotel.  

For MFS, real estate constitutes a small portion of expenses compared to its people, with nearly half of the costs attributed to personnel. The decision to stay was guided by the belief that relocating to more cost-effective spaces would compromise the company’s culture and employee satisfaction, crucial elements of their success, according to Amrit Kanwal, MFS’ chief financial officer.
