MF Sales in Libertyville, Pilsen Set Local Pricing Records

Essex Realty Group brokered sales in suburban Libertyville, IL and in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago that set local pricing records for recent transactions. The $2.175-million sale of 602-610 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Libertyville equated to $241,666 per unit, the highest price per unit for a mixed-use or multifamily sale in Libertyville in the past two years, according to CoStar data.

Essex’s Brian Kochendorfer and Troy Beebe represented the undisclosed sellers. The property is home to Chrissoulas, a popular Greek restaurant.

In Pilsen, Essex brokers Jordan Multack, Jim Darrow and Jordan Gottlieb represented the seller, local developer CKO Investments, in the $1.47-million sale of a six-unit apartment building at 1603 S. Wood St. Multack also represented the buyers.

Multack said the price of $245,000 per unit was the highest price for a multifamily property larger than three units in Pilsen in the past three years.
