MF Development Brings 384 New Units to DC’s Buzzard Point

Akridge and National Real Estate Development have started move-ins for The Byron, the first residential offering within The Stacks’ nearly six-acre community located in the growing Buzzard Point neighborhood.

Community amenities include a 10,000-square-foot FLEX gym, over 23,000 square feet of lobby and amenity space, waterfront views of DC, Maryland and Virginia, and a convenient location near Audi Field and Nationals Park.

“As the first residential offering, The Byron connects residents to the vibrant cultural, dining, and recreational amenities of the Southwest Waterfront while setting the stage for future developments in this bold, walkable community,” said Adam Gooch, Director of Development and Senior Vice President for Akridge.

The Stacks’ first phase will include an array of amenities spanning over 40,000 square feet across all three residential buildings. At full buildout, The Stacks will feature 2 million square feet of mixed-use space, including apartments, retail, hotel, office, and restaurants. The Stacks is jointly owned by Akridge, Bridge Investment Group, Blue Coast Capital, and institutional funds managed by National Real Estate Advisors.
