Meyers Group Closes on Construction Loan for S. Florida Apartments

Meyers Group secured a $45 million construction loan, enabling the company to begin construction of a 200-unit apartment complex in the Cypress Creek area of Fort Lauderdale. It covers 2.2-acre site at 6210 N. Andrews Ave. The developer purchased the vacant property for $8 million in October 2025. Meyers Group filed development plans for the site in 2022.

The South Florida Business Journal reports the eight-story Avery Cypress Creek was approved for 200 apartments and 5,000 square feet of commercial space. Amenities will include a fitness center, pool and a courtyard.

It’s located near Interstate 95 and the Cypress Creek Tri-Rail Station. The neighborhood has many offices and the city approved the Uptown zoning to allow for more multifamily development.
