Metro-North Expands Footprint at SL Green’s Graybar

SL Green Realty Corp. has signed Metro-North Commuter Railroad Company, a subsidiary of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, to a 15-year, 17,756-square-foot lease expansion at 420 Lexington Ave., aka the Graybar Building. This agreement increases Metro-North’s space in the landmarked Art Deco office property to 353,033 square feet.

“We’re delighted to expand our relationship with Metro North,” said Steven Durels, EVP and director of leasing and real property for SL Green. “Graybar’s convenient location and abundant neighborhood amenities appeal to tenants resulting in building occupancy which is consistently 95% or greater.”

Metro-North was represented by Josh Kuriloff and Jodi Roberts of Cushman & Wakefield.
