Mesa Site for New, Matching 250K SF Industrial Buildings
The developer, SkyBridge Arizona, began work on the first of two new buildings on Feb. 21, which will become a 250,000-square-foot class A industrial building near the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport at the existing SkyBridge park in southeast Mesa. A second building, which will also total 250,000 square feet, will break ground later this year. The company expects to spend about $26 million per building.
Skybridge’s Ariel Picker added, “The East Valley is metro Phoenix’s new frontier for aerospace, advanced manufacturing and logistics growth, which makes it a very exciting time to build here. We look forward to all that SkyBridge will do to serve its future tenants and streamline the U.S.-Mexico logistics chain.””
Graycor Construction Co. will build the two buildings, ADM Groups will design them. A CBRE team led by Jackie Orcutt will market the property. Everyone is shooting for completion near the first quarter of 2024.
