Merritt Properties Begins Construction on Baltimore Industrial Center

Merritt Properties has started construction on White Marsh Interchange Park in Baltimore, Maryland. The project will include up to nine one-story buildings totaling around 750,000 square feet.

The first phase will feature three buildings with 235,900 square feet of space, offering clear heights of 20 to 32 feet, parking, and truck courts. The park is part of Merritt’s Baltimore County east portfolio, which is currently 95 percent occupied. Construction for the first phase is set for completion in spring 2024.

The land for White Marsh Interchange Park was formerly the site of General Motors Baltimore Global Propulsions Systems, which closed in 2019. Merritt acquired the land in 2021 and plans to repurpose it as a commercial and industrial center.
