Merlone Geier Unveils Plans for Transit-Oriented MXU in Lynnwood
San Francisco- and San Diego-based Merlone Geier Partners (MGP) unveiled plans for Northline Village, a 17-acre mixed-use development in Lynnwood, WA. The developer plans to transform Lynnwood Square, an older strip mall, into a bustling urban gateway with office, retail, and residential components at 196th and 44th Ave. West.
MGP’s Jamas Gwilliam says, “The first phase of Northline Village will likely open around the same time as the North Link light rail line, offering a 28-minute stress-free commute to and from downtown Seattle. That is a game-changer in terms of quality of life for those who will work and live at Northline Village, and a remarkable opportunity for companies to provide a true campus lifestyle, with easy, walkable access to retail amenities, residential options, and mass transit.”
Northline Village received city approval in December 2019, and MGP is now ready to begin the phased delivery and leasing of more than 500,000 square feet of available office space, with retail and housing to follow.
