Merit Spending $23M on Dallas Office Revamp

Merit Energy is spending $23 million to upgrade its new 104,034-square-foot space at Two Lincoln Center in North Dallas. The Dallas Business Journal reports the company recently left the Galleria North Tower II, just over a mile away. Corgan is listed as the design firm for the renovations. Renovation work is expected to begin this July, with a target completion date set for late April 2026. Merit, with 250 employees in Dallas, is one of the largest oil and gas companies in Texas.

Completed in 1980, Lincoln Center—which is owned by Nuveen Real Estate—is a high-profile office complex with amenities and conference facilities. The center spans 1.6 million square feet and features three towers, a connected 500-room Hilton Hotel and an outdoor park. Other tenants on the campus include Hallmark Financial Services, Inc., Invitation Homes and Gold’s Gym. According to CoStar data, it’s 93.4% leased.
