Meridian Lines Up East Village Space for Koko Wings

Meridian Retail Leasing arranged a long-term lease for Koko Wings at 192 First Ave. in the East Village. The firm’s James Famularo and Greg Goldberg represented the landlord, while Halstead’s Michelle Kim represented the tenant.

Koko Wings, specializing in Korean fried chicken, is opening its second New York location at 192 First. The space spans 1,200 square feet on the ground floor and 800 square feet on the lower level, and features an 800-square-foot backyard in addition to 12 feet of frontage along First Avenue.

This is the Meridian Retail team’s 34th lease in the immediate area, including leases for 194 First Ave., 82 Saint Marks Pl. and 137 Ave. C. Currently, the team is marketing 131 First Ave., 229 First Ave. and 129-131 Ave. C, all within a three-block radius from Koko Wings’ new location.
