Menkiti Group Names CRE VP to Manage New England Expansion
The Menkiti Group has appointed Mike McElaney as vice president of commercial real estate as the company crosses more than 2 million square feet of projects in development, primarily in Worchester, MA and Washington, DC.
McElaney is based in New England and will lead The Menkiti Group’s vision and strategy for the region while overseeing commercial leasing on a national basis. McElaney will direct the firm’s portfolio strategy through sourcing, negotiating and executing commercial transactions across the enterprise.
Initial areas of focus for McElaney are 554 Main 401-405 Main Street in Worchester (two buildings that the firm is renovating to bring back the historic integrity of downtown Worcester) and MLK Gateway in Anacostia.
McElaney has more than 15 years of experience has executed more than 5 million square feet of commercial leasing and sales transactions. Prior to joining The Menkiti Group, he was at Avison Young and Colliers International.
