Memorabilia Concern Collectors Holdings Signs Largest Lease Deal in Jersey City Area Since 2020

Collectors Holdings, backed by billionaire Stephen Cohen and partners, has signed a major lease in New Jersey with plans to locate its East Coast headquarters in the space, according to Bloomberg.

Collectors is leasing approximately 130,000-sf of office space at Harborside 3 on the New Jersey waterfront across from Manhattan. The lease is the largest signed in the Jersey City area since 2020, Bloomberg says.

Collectors plans to use the space to expand its memorabilia authentication services business. Partners in the venture with Cohen include TCG Capital Management and D1 Capital Partners.

“We see this location as a central driver for the recruitment of top-tier product, tech and business talent from the New York metro area,” said Nat Turner, who is the founder of Collectors Holdings, its CEO and another partner of Cohen’s in the venture.

Collectors Holdings is expected to start bringing staff to the new location this year, with the site becoming fully operational by 2023. Harborside 3, which has 10 stories and approximately 750,000-sf of office space, is part of a complex redeveloped by Veris Residential Inc., formerly Mack-Cali Realty.
