Melanie Herald Joins Mission Capital in So. Florida
Mission Capital Advisors added industry veteran Melanie Herald to the firm’s debt and equity finance group. Herald, who joins from Sienna Capital Partners, will focus on originating and structuring real estate capital for owners, investors, and developers, as well as sourcing, evaluating, structuring and executing the sale of performing and non-performing loans and commercial real estate assets.
Based in Mission Capital’s Miami office, Herald will leverage her background and professional relationships in South Florida, New York City and Boston to support the company’s business development efforts in those markets.
At Sienna Capital Partners, she was involved in sourcing and structuring equity investments. Herald worked for nearly a decade at Goldman Sachs, where she executed in excess of $100 billion of RMBS, CMBS, derivative, whole loan and other real estate debt product trades. She also oversaw capital markets activity for Urban American Management.
