Mediterranean Chain Cava Opens First Minnesota Restaurant

Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant brand CAVA announced a significant milestone in its continued national expansion, reaching 500 restaurants.

CAVA marked the moment at its Minneapolis restaurant, which opened at 622 Washington Avenue SE, as the company’s entrance into Minnesota, bringing its fleet to 30 states and the District of Columbia. Fifteen years after opening its first fast-casual restaurant in 2011, CAVA is currently ahead of schedule and poised to surpass its goal of 1,000 restaurants by 2032.

“Reaching 500 restaurants is a defining moment for CAVA and a reflection of how far we’ve come,” said Brett Schulman, Co-Founder and CEO of CAVA. “It represents the passion of more than 15,000 CAVA team members, the strength of the brand we have built together, and the deep connection our food and hospitality have created with guests across the country.” CAVA is building its workforce, with the company expecting to employ more than 30,000 by 2032.
