Medistar Adding Multifamily Community in Magnolia

Medistar’s project, called Virtuo Audubon, will consist of 300-units, to be built in the Magnolia, north of Houston. It will be on a 12-acre tract with the units split among nine buildings. Construction is expected to start later this year and conclude in the first quarter of 2024.

The units will have gas appliances, a rarity in the construction of apartments, “It’s very unusual to have gas cooking available in a multi-family complex. We are going after hydronic heating, making this a more energy-efficient development,” said Avi Elfezouaty of Medistar. Hydronic heating is also known as radiant heating.

The project is going in the 3,000 acre Audubon Magnolia development.
