Medical Device Maker Moving US HQ to Plano
Chalk up another corporate relocation for North Texas. The U.S. headquarters of a German medical device company will leave the St. Louis area for Plano early next year.
ulrich medical USA Inc., which develops and commercializes spinal implants, will relocate its U.S. headquarters from Chesterfield, Missouri to Plano, Texas. The company said it will begin transitioning its headquarters to the Dallas/Fort Worth suburb in the first quarter of 2023. They are expected to move in to a facility at 3712 E. Plano Parkway.
About 30 workers will make the move from Missouri. “…The decision was made to expand in a more business-friendly environment like that of Texas. The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex was an easy choice, as it has an abundance of well-educated, talented people and attractive communities which should support ulrich medical USA’s growth objectives for years to come.” said ulrich’s Hans Stover.
ulrich medical USA is a subsidiary of Ulm, Germany-based ulrich medical (ulrich GmbH & Co. KG), a family-owned medical technology company founded in 1912.
