MedCore Acquires 189-Unit Parkview on Hollybrook

MedCore Partners joined forces with The National Realty Group to acquire Parkview on Hollybrook, a senior housing community in Longview, TX. The JV shook hands with Austin-based Thrive FP to buy the asset at 601 Hollybrook Dr. in the East Texas city. The new owners engaged the services of Integral Senior Living to manage the property

Charley Bissell, Cody Tremper, Mike Garbers, Zach Rigby and Jason Skalko with JLL represented the seller in negotiations. Thrive FP had acquired the asset out of bankruptcy in 2016, paying $20.7 million.

The property offers a mix of independent living, assisted living and memory care residences. Amenities include an outdoor pool and patio area, bocce ball court, bistro/bar venue, computer lounge, fitness center, library and theater. The new owners are also planning to develop independent living cottages on an adjacent land site, which are scheduled to deliver in early 2021.
