Private Equity Firm  Sells Ellicott City MF

CREC Real Estate, a private equity real estate investment firm, has completed the sale of Orchard Meadows Apartments, a 240-unit multifamily community in Ellicott City, Maryland. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The sale marks the third divestiture of the seven real estate investments made by the fund. 

CREC acquired Orchard Meadows in 2018 and undertook renovations to enhance the property’s operational performance. The community features a mix of two-bedroom garden units built in 1998 and one- and two-bedroom units added in 2012, all with nine- to ten-foot ceilings.  

Amenities at Orchard Meadows include a swimming pool, outdoor entertainment area, fitness center, grilling area, playground, dog park, Amazon HUB packaging locker, and surface lot parking.
