McWhinney and Livmark Communities broke ground on Mountain Brook Flats, a new 200-unit luxury apartment community in Longmont, Colorado. The $71 million joint venture is located within the Mountain Brook master-planned community. The project spans nine acres and is just west of downtown Longmont.  

The 200-home community will feature 10 three-story, 20-unit buildings with one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences averaging just over 1,150 square feet. The apartment homes will have oversized balconies and convenient garage parking. Residents will also share the new Mountain Brook Clubhouse, with a resort-style pool with swim lanes and a splash pad, a fitness center with yoga studios, an outdoor fireplace and seating area, a tavern lounge, tennis and pickleball courts and pocket parks that connect the community, with plans to add a dog park. 

Construction of Mountain Brook Flats is scheduled to begin in December 2025, with lease-up anticipated to commence in 2027. Landmark Construction Solutions will serve as the general contractor.
