McShane Construction Delivers 134-Unit MF Project in Clearwater

McShane Construction Co. has completed the construction of 1100 Apex, an adaptive reuse 134-unit multifamily project in downtown Clearwater.

Located at 1100 Cleveland St., the development was originally constructed as an office building in 1972. The structure was abandoned in 2009 after several failed redevelopment attempts in the 2000s. GSP Development purchased the building in 2017 and tapped McShane to redevelop the property in to a 15-story multifamily residence.

Units at 1100 Apex feature stainless steel appliances, quartz and granite countertops, wood plank flooring and private balconies. Amenities include a clubhouse, fitness center, putting green, resort-style pool and an outdoor lounge area with grills, a firepit and private cabanas. Additionally, the project includes a parking deck with 202 spaces and 4,300 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
