McShane Breaks Ground on Oak Park Supportive Housing
McShane Construction will serve as general contractor for the New Moms Oak Park Supportive Housing complex in Oak Park, IL. Groundbreaking for the four-story, 18-unit building, the Chicago-based nonprofit’s second supportive housing facility, took place last week.
The complex will be comprised of one and two bedroom units to accommodate various sized families. Additional interior features include office space for New Moms employees on the first floor and a playroom for children.
“This is an exciting time to work with New Moms,” said McShane VP David Rintz. “We have established a great relationship with the owner’s rep, Lightengale Group, and enjoy seeing their projects from concept to completion. We are proud to be the general contractor for this project which will help so many families.”
Architectural services on the project will be provided by McBride Kelley Baurer Architects/Planners.
