JPI-built 335-unit Jefferson Trails starts going vertical in McKinney

McKinney Site for $113M Multifamily Build

JPI is building the Jefferson Trails rental community in west McKinney. 90 townhomes are part of the mix of 335 units. The project will include:

  • 240 multifamily dwelling units;
  • One-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans;
  • Five multifamily buildings ranging from three to four stories; and
  • 95 separate townhomes.

The residential development will sit on nearly 25 acres, which is currently occupied by a former Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Texas facility. The project, which began construction in January, includes demolishing the former SPCA facility.

The community will be managed by ZRS Management and plans to include a resort-style pool, clubhouse, a pickleball court and a dog park. The rent will range between $1,725-$3,500, and the project is expected to be completed in April 2025. JPI has nearly a dozen rental communities under development in Texas.
