McKinley Packaging Takes Industrial Space in SE LA
A 102,516-square-foot industrial building in Southeast Los Angeles is now fully leased up with the signing of McKinley Packaging. The facility is minutes from the 5, 91 and 605 Freeways at 13930-13950 Mica St., and has desirable loading with a sizeable yard and active rail service.
Colliers’ brokerage team included Christopher Sheehan, Mike Foley and Connor Reeves, who arranged the deal between the landlord Prologis Inc. and tenant McKinley Packaging.
“The facility provides valuable support to McKinley’s main plant next door and will immediately improve production and logistics,” says Sheehan. “Centrally located facilities for packaging companies in this market are highly sought-after.”
McKinley Packaging provides sustainable paper and packaging products, and will leverage the facility to expand distribution throughout California and the surrounding region including Northwest Mexico. As a subsidiary of Bio Pappel, McKinley operates a network of four super alpha-box plants plus three sheet and foam plants in California, Georgia, Indiana, Texas and Baja California.
