A Prologis-constructed industrial building will likely house a leading healthcare company. McKesson is expected to move into a 300,000-square-foot warehouse that could also have some office space as well.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports Prologis acquired the 30-acre site at 1800 S. 87th Avenue from grocery giant Kroger in May, paying over $13 million for the land in an all-cash deal.

The city of Phoenix’s planning and development department heard the build-to-suit project’s site plan last summer.

HPA Architecture is the architect for the project, while Scottsdale-based Hunter Engineering Inc. is the civil engineer. Phoenix-based general contractor Willmeng Construction was issued two building permits for the site in October.
